Pardon our Progress

I get it. You’re wondering why you haven’t heard from us in awhile. You’re wondering why we haven’t announced any new shows, in Brooklyn or anywhere else.

There’s a reason.

We’re renovating The Hope Space (the place where we rehearse, record, write songs, plot world domination, practice cross-stitch, etc.). We’ve been in there since February of 2009, and the list of things needing fixing has been growing steadily that whole time. So we decided to take some time off and tackle all those little problems: new carpeting, fixing the AC, hanging the monitors, securing the wall-mounted bottle opener…

While we’re at it we’re installing an entire new recording rig that will allow us to start tracking album-ready mixes right in the same place we rehearse. We’re also exploring some options for recording live videos there, or even streaming live concerts to you real-time. There’s some extremely exciting potential unraveling here.

So don’t worry. We’re still trucking along, writing new material, polishing the new-ish material and occasionally goofing off with our instruments. We’ll be in touch soon when we can share these experiences with you live from a stage somewhere, or even from the comfort of our own studio. Thanks for your patience, and know that we miss you as much as you miss us.
